A little background on my channel name. I was upset at getting dislikes so I started asking for dislikes to take away the joy of the person leaving them. At least you have to leave likes to get your way now.

Sad that we have to resort to that. We need to have a culture where we buy results, not hours.

@@ThePeterDislikeShow I do this whenever I need to make a call. MS teams is set to show me as inactive after just a few minutes. Seems a bit aggressive to me. 10 minutes seems fair.

@@dauntae24 Sure, but how about we pay for results? When was the last time you bought something you wanted to make sure the person who worked on it was actually working X hours or didn't get lazy and sit down and oh yea, make sure the item you bought was the center of his/her life rather than family or personal hobbies? Do you feel the urge to call the farmer who grew your food to make sure they're not being "lazy"?

@@ThePeterDislikeShow as long as deliverables are completed on time and are done correctly I don’t see the point of wasting time on studying a workers activity but if someone hasn’t been performing well and perhaps is on a PIP (performance improvement plan) I can see it’s use.

Would you mind changing it to a dislike?

I hate how the more burned out you are the more time gets wasted. It's like just bail me out of this hellhole.

For me, autistic sensory overwhelm feels like I get to use 5% of my potential while 95% gets eaten up by masking, being agitated and otherwise having to run this cosplay of pretending to be neurotypical in civil society. Being stuck with that 5% of my potential if I must interact with the world causes me to withdraw into my own head to interact with myself, and causes me to reframe any external interaction into the familiar territory of my own thinking where I can interact with myself at 100% potential. Being forced to do real-world tasks at my 5% capacity feels like being forced to clean an Elephant with a toothbrush. Because I only have a toothbrush of bandwidth, I feel disoriented. Neurotypicals get things done faster, more easily and with less effort- causing me to feel shame and buy more toothbrushes to keep up with them. Soon, I am buried in more toothbrushes than I can ever use and am no closer to being neurotypical. I just made more labor for myself to drown in organizing my toothbrushes. The right medication cocktail and psychotherapy feels like I get to hold a hose to wash the elephant, and I never had any idea what that felt like. Being able to act on the entire elephant changes my entire perspective on reality and I can slowly throw out all the toothbrushes I had piled up that I used to drown in.

@@ThePeterDislikeShow Absolutely you can ask, and thank you for asking..here is my answer...the reason why I predominately click the "like" on your videos, is because your content is good, it is introspective and nonconformist, I almost feel as though your videos are a part of rationalizing your own thoughts and or providing an outlet for you in the form of a sounding board, which I view as an excellent tool in deep high level thinking, of course that is just my opinion and I could be wrong. To be more concise regarding your question when your videos are likable, I will continue to click "like".

Stress. I'm basically working 3 jobs, maintaining the home by myself while looking for a life partner. On top of trying to invest enough to finally escape all this.

@@ThePeterDislikeShow My favorite is Bismuth = Crystalline Gold. That's how I think about it as now. It's just as rare as gold and extremely undervalued. Platinum and Palladium is hilarious loool (big and small white gold) like in poker there's the big and small joker. Though my mind reserves "X" Gold to those elements with similar rarity/abundance as Gold like Bismuth, palladium, platinum. If the abundance is very high such as aluminum being over 20,000,000X more common as Gold, the I don't consider it an analogy of Gold.

@@nubz8671 You know one time I was showing a friend my setup and she laughed at me for collecting every bit of bismuth dust and even throwing the sandpaper I was working on in the furnace. She was like, this isn't gold.

@@ThePeterDislikeShow lol she doesn't get it. It's basically gold! Gold $2200/oz. Bismuth $0.39/oz. Assuming bimuth goes up to $1000 at some point, that's a 2500X

Just over 3 tons at the moment. I would buy more except it's a pain in the rear end to move around and my storage unit is pretty much full.

I also have a half-ton of zinc and of course the 3 or so tons of copper I have at my family's home from my younger days :)

I sent a few hundred pounds to my parent's home and they're pissed off. i tried explaining that this will be worth so much in the future. Welp.... I'm gonna have to check out storage places

@@ThePeterDislikeShow The COVID prediction is debatable for too many reasons with psychic abilities being considered generally impossible resting closer to the bottom than the top. Tungsten? Will never be worth anything.

@@jenniferbellotti7203 I call it the Peter Dislike show because of how much of a headwind one can experience if they try to lead a different lifestyle. E.g., I have to eat a healthy diet to keep my autism in check. I *never* struggle with the diet physically. I struggle tremendously socially though with it. Ditto with my solosexual relationship, I would enjoy it 100% under the right substrate of a society. Because of all the drama I experience from people who want to put their nose in my business, I feel like a "Dislike".
